Veluda Water Filters S.A. supports “Iliaktida”

Remaining faithful to its principles of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Veluda Water Filters continues to demonstrate that true business success carries meaning only when it is accompanied by genuine social contribution.

Within the framework of the recent Veluda Running Challenge, the members of the Veluda Running Team joined forces not only to promote health and well-being, but also to support a remarkable social organization — the Pancretan Association of Parents and Friends of Children with Neoplasia “Iliaktida”, which offers vital assistance to children with cancer and their families.

During the event, participants were divided into two teams, each equipped with a timing chip. The team that achieved the lowest overall time was declared the winner and, in a wonderful act of solidarity and teamwork, chose to donate the prize money to Iliaktida.

The symbolic handover of the donation took place during an emotional ceremony, attended by Veluda executives and Mrs. Maria Kourougiavouri, representative of Iliaktida, reaffirming the company’s ongoing commitment to stand beside those who need support.
